Constituents! Welcome to Week 6 of the NFL.
Today we have a decent slate with a few games where our WiseGuys see value. We do not have any complete consensus games today (which is honestly the norm in the NFL), but we do have some good leans that we will be giving out as official WiseGuys Picks. See below:
Cincinatti +11 @ Baltimore
If you’ve ever read one of these articles, you know that I absolutely HATE betting on shitty teams. So why am I taking one of the worst 3 teams in the NFL to cover today? Well, for starters they’re a double digit doggie to a divisional rival and this game typically ends within one score historically. On top of that, we appear to be seeing some fall off from Lamar J who is going to have to put his money where his mouth is and spend a little more time in the pocket if he wants to have a sustainable NFL future. Over the last few games he has relied a lot more on his feet and now that opposing defenses have some film, you can see a clear drop-off in production. 6 WiseGuys took Cinci, 2 took the Ravens.
Titans -2 @ Broncos
The Titans give me a damn headache but we are still trying to figure out what the Broncos are with their new look offense and defense. Historically, this game has been a defensive battle and I expect that to continue today. The Titans defense has been raising hell in the backfield all year but don’t exactly do a great job containing the run. With that being said, I think the Titans have enough to get it done on the road today. 8 WiseGuys picked the Titans, 2 picked the Broncos.
Lions +4.5 @ Green Bay
Really gunna need these shitty road teams to show up today. Can’t even front, I was trying to do a writeup on this one to talk you and myself in to believing in this bet… but I can’t. Just know that 6 WiseGuys picked the Lions, 2 picked Green Bay.
