(6) Maryland vs. (3) LSU -2:
Does coaching really matter when you pay to have an extremely talented lineup? Nah.
Coach Wade’s bag men did a great job getting top tier talent to Baton Rouge. They did not do a good job of using burner phones or keeping things “secret” from Wade. That being said, these dudes can ball with or without their head coach.
Maryland is coming off a lucky win, as 3-point favorites, against no.11 seeded Belmont. While Maryland may own a better defense than LSU, allowing 65ppg. LSU is 23rd in Offensive production and can go off at any moment. Now that each team has a tourney win under their belt, I look for LSU to come out hot and break down the Terps’ defensive pressure.

(9) Baylor vs. (1) Gonzaga:
Too. Many. Points. Gonzaga is probably going to win this game, but this is the second round of the tourney and 14 points is hefty. Gonzaga coming off a game against FDU where they coasted for about 35 minutes. Baylor coming off a win against a good defensive Syracuse team will only boost their confidence. Our WiseGuys feel good about a cover here.
Look for the Zags to win but a Baylor cover. Book it.
