The GOAT Returns

The Greatest of All Time
Weeeeee baaaaaaaack!!! With a quiet weekend from WiseGuys, you wouldn’t think the Sunday night article in late September would start with a golf drop – until The Needle decided it was his time to officially make his return and polish off an unbelievable weekend with a 2 stroke victory at East Lake Golf Club. Today Tiger not only proved he was officially back with a signature win, he beat the top 30 players in the world in to a complete oblivion, crushing souls and and 300+ drives all the way home. After his laundry list of surgeries over the last few years, this feat seemed impossible for anyone… anyone that isn’t Eldrick Tont “Tiger” Woods.

How’d He Do It?
He opened the weekend looking confident, with his old buddy Scotty Cameron FINALLY carrying the way, and he never looked back. One word to describe his game? Consistent. Another? Dominant. Another? Vintage. However you want to put it, he has found the rhythm and finesse that struck fear in to the hearts of his opponents from a decade ago, many of whom have never felt the true presence of a vintage Tiger gallery, or the type of roar that would wake a sleeping baby from 10 miles away. In his prime, many of these tournaments were won on Saturday. And while this one took a little bit of sweat on Sunday, there was never a doubt who was going to come out on top.
In a truly iconic golf moment, Tiger walked up the fairway at East Lake to a crowd like I have never seen before. They said he was done. They said he may never be able to swing a club again, they weeped at his downfall and disrespected his greatness. Now, five years after his last victory on Tour, the legion of haters have become completely silenced and Tiger finally has the elusive #80. What a time to be alive!

Get Money
From the gambling perspective, Tiger entered the tournament a disrespectful 14-1 and got his supporters to the window in iconic fashion. I personally laid a few units on the GOAT at -170 this morning and could not be happier for my mans. We will be releasing a ton of Ryder Cup Content this week with a special guest picker so be on the lookout for more golf content in the near future. Get your checkbooks ready. The GOAT is back.
